Welcome to Barre Fitness, your invigorating, full-body, low-impact workout at the Blue Quill Community League!

Inspired by ballet, Pilates, and yoga, Barre uses a ballet barre (or a sturdy chair/wall) and small, controlled, repetitive movements to target and exhaust specific muscle groups. The result? Long, lean muscle tone, improved posture, and increased flexibility and balance.

What to Expect in Class

  • Low-Impact, High-Intensity: Get a powerful workout without the stress on your joints.
  • Total Body Focus: We work your arms, abs, thighs, and glutes using high repetitions, and your own body weight.
  • The “Barre Shake”: Don’t be surprised when your muscles start shaking—that means you are finding the deep engagement and getting results!
  • No Dance Experience Needed: This class is for everyone, regardless of your fitness level or ballet background. Your instructor will guide you through every move and offer modifications.
