The Blue Quill Community League has multiple spaces to book, including its main hall and kitchen, which is one of the largest in Edmonton!

how to book:

  • Contact the Blue Quill office via email at bqcladmin@bqcl.org or phone (780) 438-3366. If calling after office hours, please leave a message with the preferred rental dates and your contact info. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.
  • If interested, you may request to view the spaces available.
  • Please carefully read our Rental Agreement and Renter’s Responsibility Charter.

how to pay:

  • Pay by cash or a current-dated cheque, payable to the Blue Quill Community League.
  • Damage Deposit: $500, paid in CASH (a receipt will be issued).
  • Please note: Payment in full must be received by Blue Quill and deposited before a booking is confirmed.

cancellation policy:

  • See our Rental Agreement for our full cancellation policy.
  • Please note that bookings can only be canceled by the person booked the rental.

other rental details:

  • Prior to the rental date, pick up the key from the BQCL office and provide a $500.00 CASH damage deposit. A receipt will be issued.
  • After rental, the BQCL Hall Rental Coordinator will carry out an inspection of the hall to ensure it is clean and no damage has incurred. Deductions for uncleanliness and/or damage will be taken from the damage deposit, as outlined in our Rental Agreement.

liquor and special event license requirements:

  • If liquor is to be served, then prior to the rental date, a Private/Public Special event Liquor License and Liquor Liability Insurance (minimum $1,000,000.00) must be purchased, and proof of such must be faxed to the BQCL Hal Rental Coordinator. You can get Liquor Liability Insurance from PAL Insurance Brokers at 1-800-661-1608. Please note: this is not a recommendation, just a point in the right direction.
