We are still so excited from this weekend's Clothing Swap & Sale! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support, donate clothes, and find some new treasures. Here's the impact that we made together:- Nearly 850 pieces of clothing found a second life instead of a landfill!- We had over 50 families participate in the swap and dozens of "door crashers" who joined in the fun- The money raised will go right back into our community initiativesA huge shout-out to:- Our incredible volunteers! To everyone who pitched in their time over the last 2 days along with some hard-working kiddos. We couldn't have done it without you!- Our board members for their support and who came out to help the cause- Our wonderful admin, Kathryn for all the help behind the scenesEvents like this remind us of the importance of the community league to help bring everyone together. A Message from the BQCL President

Welcome to the online home of Blue Quill Community League in southwest Edmonton. Our community league represents the neighbourhoods of Blue Quill proper, Skyrattler, Blue Quill Estates and Sweetgrass. There’s a lot going on around the community hall: recreational programs, service organizations, playschool, cultural groups, Enjoy Life church, tennis, basketball, hockey, outdoor skating, playground and more.

In order to keep these activities going, we have a group of volunteers on the community league board. It’s these individuals that ensure the BQCL hall and grounds are maintained and kept busy with activities. If you would like to learn more about getting involved, then please contact the President at president@bqcl.org.

We have increased our online presence and maintain a community Facebook page. We post upcoming events there as well as on our web site. We also have a Twitter account that you can follow: @BlueQuillCL.
