From January to April this year, we gathered resident’s views on building a community garden in our neighbourhood. The results were overwhelmingly positive!
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete our garden survey. We received a total of 68 responses over a 3-month period, with representation from all 4 neighbourhoods encompassed by the Blue Quill Community League. The chart below reflects the number of responses we received from each neighbourhood.
Out of everyone who took part in the survey, 84% indicated they would like to participate in the community garden project. Of those, 81% were interested in growing and maintaining a garden plot.
We are grateful for the number of people willing to help out with the design, planning and construction of the garden, along with those offering to share their knowledge and expertise to help make this project a reality. Bringing this garden to life can only be done through the collective efforts of our community and neighbours.
