Calling All Snow Angels!

The City of Edmonton’s Snow Angels program is inviting you to don your snow-shoveling gear and help those in need of assistance shoveling their snow, like a senior or person with disabilities.
Snow that remains on sidewalks is hazardous for everyone, but especially for people with limited mobility who may be severely injured from a fall on ice or snow. Shoveling the sidewalk or driveway of a neighbour this winter will not only help keep everyone safe but will give you the satisfaction of knowing you helped someone in need.

How to Become a Snow Angel

Give a helping hand to those in need this winter! If you see someone with a “Snow Angel Needed” sign or look like they need help, ask if they need some assistance with their snow shoveling. You can read more about it here.

For the kids in our community, there is a Kids Challenge! If you help out your neighbours with shoveling snow, get snowflakes and come to the community league to enter to win a gift card! You can view the rules here and the sticker chart here.

How to get Help

You can visit the Blue Quill Community League to get one of the “Snow Angel Needed” signs to put in your front yard or your window.

If you don’t have a shovel or can’t afford one, you can come to the hall to get one for free!
